Mother Tree Project

Website design for cutting-edge forestry research project

Working with Dr. Suzanne Simard of the University of British Columbia, I designed and developed a beautiful and informative website for her forestry research project. The visually-appealing website provides engaging and accessible information about her research to the general public while also providing in-depth technical information and resources for scientists and collaborators.

I worked closely with Dr. Simard to write the website content, ensuring that it was both interesting and understandable as well as technically accurate. I developed a visual look and feel for the website and designed the project logo. Using WordPress, I designed the front-end of the website and set up interactive elements of the website using plug-ins.

The finished website illuminates the research in clear and engaging way while also providing access to more in-depth technical information. The site is mobile-friendly, search-engine optimized and the WordPress backend in secured and maintained for optimal performance.
