Amy has filmed, directed and edited engaging short videos to support successful marketing and fundraising campaigns. She recently completed part-time students in video production in the Digital Arts and New Media program at Selkirk College and attended the 2019 Adventure Filmmakers Workshop at the Banff Centre.

Working with Amy Bohigian and the team at Watershed Productions, we developed a series of educational films about community wildfire protection for the Harrop Proctor Community Forest.

In July 2019, the provincial and federal governments along with leaders from three indigenous groups signed an agreement to bring salmon back to the Upper Columbia River. This historic agreement will see the five governments cooperate in an unprecedented way, overcoming both technical and political challenges to reintroduce salmon to the upper Columbia Basin.

In the face of global environmental changes, this film has the potential to show the healing and restoration that can happen when various groups work together towards a shared goal. At the heart, this is a story about reconciliation and restoring balance to an ecosystem.

The Columbia Basin Transboundary Conference: One River, One Future is an international conference addressing key issues related to the future of the Columbia River, its ecosystem, management and international implications.

The 2019 conference featured interactive sessions, speakers, cultural events and a field trip to the headwaters of the Columbia River.

Two videos were created to highlight the 2019 event – a 30 second highlight reel and a longer three minute version.

Inspired by the haunting beauty of a petrified forest, author Eileen Delehanty Pearkes embarked on a journey to visit rainforests across the North American West. This search for beauty became an exploration and meditation on what these rainforests, and the indigenous cultures who have called them home for millennia, can teach us about responding to climate change.
