Well, I’m off on a 3 week adventure that I’ve always dreamed about to Peru. The highlight of this trip will be a four day trek to Machu Picchu but I’m also looking forward to visiting Lima, Cuzco, Lake Titicaca and the Nazca Lines. I’ll be doing most of my travel with GAP Adventures and I’ll be on the Classic Peru trip from June 21-July 1 and checking out the Nazca Lines from July 5-7.

I’m really curious about your GAP experience, now that I read further on the deets of your travail. I’ve been looking at their LOST WORLD trip to the tepui of Venezuela. Have you traveled with them before, Amy?

Thanks everyone for the well wishes! The trip was amazing and I’ve made it back safe and sound with over 1300 pictures to process - the first of three weeks are on Flickr so far.
Trevor - I really enjoyed my trip with GAP! The tour was well planned, guide was amazing, and I got to travel with a great group of people. Although I do enjoy independent travel, it was really nice having everything planned out and to not have to worry the travel details.
Michaela - that’s weird that we left the same day on our subsequent adventures, mine to a far off land and yours back home. Looking forward to seeing your pics and hearing about your trip back home.
